GAZA LA PERENNE GUERRA DE ISRAEL Y PALESTINA//GAZA: ISRAELI-PALESTINE'S PERENNIAL WAR
Aunque el cargo de máxima Autoridad Palestina recae en Mahmmoud Abbas, desde el 2006 el poder político y militar en la Franja de Gaza, lo ostenta Hamas,
Gaza es una franja costera de 360
kilómetros cuadrados, pero con una alta densidad de población, pues hasta las
recientes operaciones militares judías, estaba próxima a los dos millones de
habitantes, un alto porcentaje de ellos, desplazados.
Como en todos los países de su
entorno, en Gaza estan presentes las tres grandes religiones monoteístas,
cristianismo, judaísmo e islamismo, con sus divisiones respectivas, lo que
añade más leña al fuego entorno al polvorín.
La historia viene de antiguo,
exactamente desde la proclamación del estado de Israel en 1948, pues nada más
producirse este estatus comenzaron los conflictos, entre el nuevo estado y los
países árabes, convirtiendo a Gaza en un Campo de Refugiados.
Cuando en 1967 se produce la
denominada “Guerra de los Seis Días” en la que Israel se alza con la victoria,
aprovecha para expandir sus fronteras, como Palestina no estaba reconocida como
Estado, pasó a ser “Zona de ocupación” y tanto en Gaza como en Cisjordania,
comenzaron a realizarse los asentamientos de los colonos judíos, bajo
protección del ejército.
Hay que tener en cuenta, que ni
Gaza ni Cisjordania fueron reconocidos como estado, de ahí tal vez dimanen
muchos de los grandes problemas.
En 1987 se produjo la Primera
Intifada (guerra de las piedras) una rebelión palestina contra el ejército de
Israel, la cual fue duramente reprimida.
La situación se endureció de tal
manera que se llevaron a cabo Conferencias de Paz, para buscar una solución al
conflicto entre ambas partes, Madrid 1991, Cairo y Oslo I 1994, Oslo II 1995,
Way P. 1998, Sharm al-Sheik 1999 y Camp David 2000, pero, aunque la iniciativa
internacional lo intentó, nunca el barco llegó a buen puerto, siempre había
rescoldos que eran rechazados por una parte u otra e incluso a veces por ambas.
En el 2000 comenzó la Segunda
Intifada, el pretexto fue la Visita de Ariel Sharon a la explanada de las
mezquitas, que los palestinos consideraron una provocación, fue entonces cuando
surgió la Brigada de los Mártires de Al-Aqsa, formada por voluntarios,
comenzando entonces una espirar violenta, que llegó hasta el momento actual.
El Tzahal puso en marcha una
serie de Operaciones Militares, para contener a las milicias palestinas: O.
Muralla (2002), O. Lluvia de Verano (2006), O. Invierno Caliente (2008), O.
Plomo Fundido (2012), O. Margen Protector (2014). Todas ellas se saldaron con
un alto coste de vidas humanas, mucho mayor por la parte palestina.
Pero lo peor estaba por llegar,
el 7 de octubre de 2023, las milicias palestinas de las Brigadas de los
Mártires de Al-Aqsa y la Yihad Islámica Palestina, lanzaron una ofensiva
inesperada a la que bautizaron como Operación Inundación, cruzaron por
distintos puntos la frontera y produjeron la muerte de más de 1200 personas,
incluso de gente de otros países que se encontraban en Israel y se llevaron
consigo a Gaza más de 250 secuestrados. En la ofensiva atacaron Kibutz (granjas)
y una base militar fronteriza en la murieron 53 soldados.
La ofensiva del Ejército de Israel (Tzahal) no
se hizo esperar y pusieron en marcha la O. Espada de Hierro, una ofensiva, por Aire
y tierra que causo más de 40.000 muertos por parte palestina y cuantiosas bajas
en el ejército israelí. Con la mediación de los Estados Unidos, se llegó a un
principio de acuerdo de paz, con entrega de secuestrados, pero las partes se
acusaron mutuamente de no cumplir las bases del acuerdo, por lo que se ampliaron
las Operaciones con la O. Fuerza y Espada, que causó en un solo día más de 400
muertos.
Nadie sabe cuando cesará esta
cruenta guerra, donde están muriendo gentes de todas las edades, en una locura
colectiva.

Although the position of maximum Palestinian Authority
has been held by Mahmoud Abbas, since 2006 the political and military power in

to expand its borders, as Palestine was not recognized as a state, it became an
"Occupation Zone" and both in Gaza and in the West Bank, the settlements
of Jewish settlers began to be carried out, under the protection of the army.
It should be borne in mind that neither Gaza
nor the West Bank were recognized as a state, hence perhaps many of the big
problems.
In 1987 there was the First Intifada (War of
the Stones), a Palestinian rebellion against the Israeli army, which was
harshly repressed.
The situation hardened in such a way that Peace
Conferences were held, to seek a solution to the conflict between the two
parties, Madrid 1991, Cairo and Oslo I 1994, Oslo II 1995, Way P. 1998, Sharm
al-Sheik 1999 and Camp David 2000, but, although the international initiative
tried, the ship never reached a good port.
there were always embers that were rejected by one side or the other and
sometimes even by both.
In 2000 the Second Intifada began, the pretext
was the visit of Ariel Sharon to the esplanade of the mosques, which the
Palestinians considered a provocation, it was then that the Al-Aqsa Martyrs
Brigade emerged, made up of volunteers, then beginning a violent exhalation,
which has reached the present time.
The IDF launched a series of military
operations to contain Palestinian militias: O. Wall (2002), O. Summer Rain
(2006), O. Hot Winter (2008), O. Cast Lead (2012), O. Protective Edge (2014).
All of them resulted in a high cost in human lives, much higher on the
Palestinian side.
But the worst was yet to come, on October 7,
2023, the Palestinian militias of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and Palestinian
Islamic Jihad launched an unexpected offensive that they baptized as Operation
Flood, crossed the border at different points and caused the death of more than
1200 people, including people from other countries who were in Israel and took
more than 250 hostages with them to Gaza. In the offensive they attacked
kibbutzim (farms) and a border military base where 53 soldiers were killed.
The
offensive of the Israeli Army (IDF) was not long in coming and they launched
the Iron Sword, an offensive by air and land that caused more than 40,000
deaths on the Palestinian side and heavy casualties in the Israeli army. With
the mediation of the United States, a peace agreement was reached in principle,
with the delivery of hostages, but the parties accused each other of not
complying with the bases of the agreement, so the Operations with the O. Force
and Sword were expanded, which caused more than 400 deaths in a single day.
No one knows when this bloody war will end,
where people of all ages are dying, in a collective madness.
