El 21 de junio, una calurosa
mañana, da paso al relevo de la primavera, para oficialmente dar la bienvenida
al ansiado verano. Son días mas largos, de bullicio, vacaciones y “relax”.
Los más pequeños hacen sentir su ímpetu
juvenil, con sus gritos, carreras, chapuzones y zambullidas en el agua.
Los más atrevidos se lanzan desde
rocas, de más o menos alturas, sin darse cuenta de que, estos juegos
infantiles, en ocasiones resultan sumamente peligrosos, sobre todo para los
inexpertos, que aún no consiguieron apreciar que las distancias y tamaños dentro
del agua, son muy diferentes a la realidad. Es por ello, que precisamente en
todos los comienzos estivales, es donde se producen la mayoría de los
accidentes más graves en el entorno acuático. Tanto en mayores como en
pequeños.
Rocas que no vemos al
zambullirnos de cabeza o lanzándonos de pie desde una determinada altura, traidoras
resacas conocidas como “mar de fondo” que no se notan mucho en superficie, pero
te arrastra al introducirte en el mar. Tampoco es de desdeñar los cambios bruscos
de temperatura corporal, después de estar un tiempo considerable tumbado en la
arena o jugando en ella, tostándote por efecto de los rayos del sol, a veces
disimulado por la bruma costera, te introduces en el agua, sin dar un paso
previo al cambio de temperatura, con gestos tan simples como es el de refrescar
previamente, muñecas, cara, cuello y la zona estomacal. Y que en ocasiones estos
cambios de temperatura traen consigo malas consecuencias.
Amigos, el verano es para divertirse,
pero para que no resulte desagradable, usemos todos el sentido común, que
muchas veces es al que menos caso le hacemos.

it, tanning yourself due to the effect of the sun's rays, sometimes hidden by
the coastal mist, you enter the water, without taking a step prior to the change
in temperature, with gestures as simple as cooling off beforehand, wrists, face, neck, and stomach area. And
that sometimes these temperature changes bring with them bad consequences.
Finally, it is important not to underestimate
the effects produced by external agents, such as jellyfish, which do not cease
to deceive with their apparent beauty and fragility and produce strong, painful
and damaging skin lesions. Or the brave pout lovers, with their poisonous
quills, who bury themselves in the sand, waiting for a foot without the
appropriate footwear, to pierce the terrible sting, which produce a momentary
and intense pain to the unwary who crosses their path.
Friends, summer is for fun, but so that it is
not unpleasant, let's all use common sense, which we often pay less attention
to.
