PROBLEMÁTICA DE LAS ESPOSAS DE RESERVISTAS ISRAELIES/PROBLEMS OF THE WIVES OF ISRAELI RESERVISTS

         La movilización de los reservistas de Israel, por la guerra en Gaza, provocó una crisis de estabilidad laboral para las esposas, que se ven abocadas a hacer frente a sus necesidades laborales y familiares.

Algunas de ellas han perdido sus empleos, incluso en puestos de responsabilidad como es el caso de Oshrat Kaminer de la ciudad de Naharilla, su marido se encuentra movilizado y ella tiene que atender a sus dos hijos.

Estas situaciones de indefensión laboral, hizo que un grupo de ellas, fundasen la Asociación de Esposas de Reservistas, con una cifra de más de 5.000 miembros y que están asesoradas por unos 30 abogados, que actúan de forma solidaria y voluntaria en la asociación.

Es un momento delicado, en el que el comandante en jefe de la 98 División del Ejército de Israel, general de brigada Dan Goldfuss, fue citado a dar explicaciones a sus superiores jerárquicos, por unas declaraciones a medios de comunicación, en los que insta a los lideres políticos a que estén a la altura de dignidad que merecen sus soldados y reservistas involucrados en la guerra de Gaza.

Al tiempo que el primer ministro Benjamín Netanyahu, sigue con su hoja de ruta, para tratar de destruir a los Batallones de Hamas operativos en Rafah, según declaro en video conferencia con la AIPAC (Comité de Asuntos Públicos de Estados Unidos) a los que aseguró que su ejército hace todo lo que esta a su alcance para evitar daños colaterales en la población civil, con una medidas que nunca antes había tomado ningún ejército del mundo.

The mobilization of Israeli reservists due to the war in Gaza caused a crisis of job stability for wives, who are forced to meet their work and family needs.

Some of them have lost their jobs, including in positions of responsibility, as is the case of Oshrat Kaminer in the city of Naharilla, her husband is mobilized and she has to take care of their two children.

These situations of helplessness at work led a group of them to found the Association of Wives of Reservists, with a figure of more than 5,000 members and who are advised by about 30 lawyers, who act in solidarity and voluntarily in the association.

It is a delicate moment, in which the commander-in-chief of the 98th Division of the Israeli Army, Brigadier General Dan Goldfuss, was summoned to give explanations to his hierarchical superiors, for statements to the media, in which he urges political leaders to live up to the dignity that their soldiers and reservists involved in the Gaza war deserve.

While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues with his roadmap to try to destroy the Hamas battalions operating in Rafah, as he declared in a video conference with AIPAC (Public Affairs Committee of the United States) to which he assured that his army is doing everything in its power to avoid collateral damage to the civilian population,  with a measure that no army in the world had ever taken before.
