LA VENGANZA SE SIRVE EN PLATO FRÍO//REVENGE IS SERVED ON A COLD PLATE

 

Hace pocos días escuchaba de labios de un político el proverbio “La Venganza se

sirve en plato frío”, es verdad que lo había escuchado en algún lugar anteriormente.

Lo cierto es que vas viendo que, con el paso del tiempo, adversarios políticos, ya sean de tu propio partido, de los que quieren escalar puestos en el escalafón, o más común de los partidos antagónicos, esta máxima cobra fuerza y se sigue a “pies juntillas” a lo largo y ancho de la esfera política.

Algunos van acumulando información, sobre quienes llegado el caso te pueden hacer daño o echar por tierra tus intereses. Por eso llegado el momento oportuno, devolver la moneda y “¡Zas!” poder soltar la bomba directamente a su línea de flotación.

En no pocas ocasiones, esta bomba no aúpa al que la lanza, pero le da la satisfacción de que, al caer, arrastra en su caída al causante de su propia defenestración.

La información es poder, eso está clarísimo y eso ocurre en todos los órdenes de la vida, pero en política la información hace aumentar el poder. Es por ello que el que ostenta el mando, procura mandar a sus subordinados a realizar los trabajos sucios y aunque la ley castiga por igual a autores, inductores, cómplices e encubridores. No cabe duda de que de todos ellos el más difícil de descubrir es el inductor. Eso lo reflejan bien las películas sobre movimientos mafiosos, siempre el “Capo” manda a otro que ejecute su venganza.

Pero aún así el “capo” precisa apoyarse en alguien, pero el problema es cuando surgen desavenencias con ese “alguien” y este puede reaccionar como cuando el amo de un perro, que sin querer le pisas el rabo, y aunque es dócil, se siente atacado e instintivamente te muerde.

La historia está llena de traiciones y venganzas, sino que se lo pregunten a Julio Cesar cuando cayó en el Senado romano.

A few days ago I heard from the lips of a politician the proverb "Revenge is

serve on a cold plate", it is true that I had heard it somewhere before.

The truth is that you see that, with the passage of time, political adversaries, whether from your own party, from those who want to climb positions in the hierarchy, or more commonly from antagonistic parties, this maxim gains strength and is followed "to the letter" throughout the political sphere.

Some accumulate information about those who, if necessary, can harm you or ruin your interests. So when the time comes, return the coin and "Wham!" you can drop the bomb directly to its waterline.

On more than a few occasions, this bomb does not lift the one who throws it, but it gives him the satisfaction that, when it falls, it drags in its fall the cause of its own defenestration.

Information is power, that is very clear and that happens in all areas of life, but in politics information increases power. That is why the one who holds the command, tries to send his subordinates to do the dirty work and although the law punishes authors, inducers, accomplices and accessories equally. There is no doubt that of all of them the most difficult to discover is the inducer. That is well reflected in films about mafia movements, the "Capo" always sends someone else to execute his revenge.

But even so, the "capo" needs to lean on someone, but the problem is when disagreements arise with that "someone" and he can react like when the owner of a dog, who unintentionally steps on his tail, and although he is docile, feels attacked and instinctively bites you.

History is full of betrayals and revenge, but just ask Julius Caesar when he fell to the Roman Senate.
