An old saying goes that he who waits, despairs. It's true when you're looking forward to one. Whatever the importance of it, it always seems very long
There was a time when, although I am not Irish, I sympathized with Devlin, a friend from Kildare, who, like any self-respecting Irishman, waited for the feast of St. Patrick, enjoyed
changing every day the number of those who were missing for the celebration of his patron saint. A festivity that by the way was very beautiful and endearing, where there was no lack of music, parade and its gastronomic moment, closing the evening with an elaborate Irish coffee. Now that
a long time has passed and giving the memory the value it deserves, I await
with more impatience the birth of Ignacio, the grandson that the stork brings
on its way. It goes without saying that, if waiting for the holiday of one day
is something that after all is still anecdotal, waiting for the arrival of a
child is something great, the days pass slowly, although new technologies allow
you to get an idea of what it is like, but without a doubt, it is not the same,
or similar to reality. So we have to
wait for his time to come, for now he is the hidden protagonist of a story that
God through one day will have its beginning.
