 ¿SON LAS TRAGEDIAS NATURALES CASTIGOS DE DIOS?

Un viejo adagio dice: Que Dios perdona a veces, el hombre (genéricamente) a veces, pero la naturaleza nunca. Esto se cumple siempre así, desde el principio de la humanidad. Aunque le llamemos: cambio climático, cambio de era o cambio de ciclo.

En épocas remotas, cualquier revés de la naturaleza, se achacaba a un culpable y al castigo divino, todas las cosas negativas que ocurrían. Los presuntos culpables, recibían el castigo no de Dios, sino de los hombres.

Cuando el profeta Jonás, recibió la misión de ir a predicar a Nínive, escandalizado y la vez temeroso por la vida de desenfreno que se vivía en esa gran ciudad, decidió poner agua de por medio y huir en un barco, pero cuando se encontraban en el medio del mar, se desató una gran tormenta, el peligro de naufragar era bastante evidente, los marineros enseguida pensaron, que esta tormenta, se había desatado, porque alguno de los marineros habría pecado. Echaron a suerte, por medio de una pajita, Jonás sacó la más pequeña y por tanto era el culpable de la desdicha que estaban padeciendo. Y como tal fue arrojado al mar.

Un cetáceo, presumiblemente una ballena, se lo tragó pero no lo pudo ingerir, por lo que tras tres días en el interior de la boca, fue arrojado por el animal a la orilla del mar y salvo la vida,  no hace mucho tiempo una ballena se zampó un surfista, que al no ser del apetito de esta por su tamaño, fue arrojado de nuevo al mar, salvando la vida, como también la salvo Jonás, Dios no castigó al profeta por no ir a Ninive, ni al surfista vaya usted a saber por qué,  si Dios quisiese hacerlo, ni el uno y ni  el otro saldrían vivos de la aventura.

España es o al menos hasta hace poco era uno de los países más Marianos del mundo, es cierto que ahora no lo es tanto, pero ni María ni Dios, castigan a los españoles por dejar de lado sus deberes religiosos.

Si se producen terremotos en Granada es porque las fallas se mueven, no cabe duda de que el uso desproporcionado de armamento potente en las guerras que asolan nuestro planeta influye negativamente en el movimiento de las capas terrestres. Pero también se debía exigir algún tipo de medidas a la hora de acometer una construcción, que palie y contrarreste la fuerza devastadora de un terremoto, ¿Por qué un terremoto de la escala 5, muchas veces es más devastador que uno de 7 en otro país?

Si son los incendios, la Virgen no castiga, con el fuego, son los que no limpian los montes, impiden que los animales pasten, los que no hacen cortafuegos y sobre todo los incendiarios por razones de interés económico, político o medioambiental quienes castigan al resto de los ciudadanos.

Si el motivo son las inundaciones, pues quizás si dejásemos de enviar emisiones de CO2 a la atmósfera, manutuviésemos limpios los cauces de los ríos, hubiese una regulación a la hora de construir en las proximidades de los cauces, hubiese vías de escape y otras acciones de prevención evitaríamos que los efectos fuesen menos desbastadores.

Tal vez otros desastres naturales como los volcanes tengan más difícil solución que los anteriormente citado, pero sus efectos serían menores, si los gobiernos tuviesen preparadas situaciones de emergencia y evacuación, en caso de producirse y una vez hecho el daño, pusiesen pronto en manos de los damnificados las ayudas que le permitan salir de su precaria situación.

Errar es humano, pero echar la culpa a otro es más humano todavía, cuando se quieren lavar las manos a la hora de la responsabilidad, los políticos saben y son expertos en cómo hacerlo.

ARE NATURAL TRAGEDIES GOD'S PUNISHMENTS?

An old adage goes: God forgives sometimes, man (generically) sometimes, but nature never. This has always been true since the beginning of humanity. Even if we call it: climate change, change of era or change of cycle.

In ancient times, any setback of nature was blamed on a culprit and divine punishment for all the negative things that happened. The presumed guilty received punishment not from God, but from men.

When the prophet Jonah received the mission to go and preach in Nineveh, scandalized and at the same time fearful of the life of debauchery that was lived in that great city, he decided to put water in the middle and flee in a boat, but when they were in the middle of the sea, a great storm broke out, the danger of shipwreck was quite evident,  The sailors immediately thought that this storm had broken out, because some of the sailors would have sinned. They drew lots, by means of a straw, Jonah took out the smallest one and therefore he was to blame for the misery they were suffering. And as such he was thrown into the sea.

A cetacean, presumably a whale, swallowed it but could not ingest it, so after three days inside the mouth, it was thrown by the animal to the seashore and saved its life, not long ago a whale was eaten by a surfer, who is not of the appetite of this because of its size,  he was thrown back into the sea, saving his life, as well as Jonah saved, God did not punish the prophet for not going to Nineveh, nor did the surfer who knows why, if God wanted to do so, neither one nor the other would come out alive from the adventure.

Spain is, or at least until recently, one of the most Marian countries in the world, it is true that now it is not so much, but neither Mary nor God punish Spaniards for neglecting their religious duties.

If earthquakes occur in Grenada it is because the faults move, there is no doubt that the disproportionate use of powerful weapons in the wars that devastate our planet has a negative influence on the movement of the earth's layers. But some kind of measures should also be required when undertaking a construction, which palliates and counteracts the devastating force of an earthquake, Why is an earthquake of scale 5 often more devastating than an earthquake of 7 in another country?

If it is the fires, the Virgin does not punish, with fire, it is those who do not clean the mountains, prevent animals from grazing, those who do not make firebreaks and above all the arsonists for reasons of economic, political or environmental interest who punish the rest of the citizens.

Perhaps other natural disasters such as volcanoes will be more difficult to solve than those mentioned above, but their effects would be less, if governments had emergency and evacuation situations prepared, in case they occur and once the damage has been done, they soon put in the hands of the victims the aid that will allow them to get out of their precarious situation.

To err is human, but to blame someone else is even more human, when they want to wash their hands when it comes to responsibility, politicians know and are experts in how to do it.
