 ÚLTIMO CUADRIMESTRE DEL AÑO JUBILAR EN PONTEVEDRA

La casa del Inmaculado Corazón de la Virgen en Pontevedra, situada en la calle Sor Lucia 3, 36002, cuya historia comienza en 1918, con la llegada a la ciudad de la Orden de las HH Doroteas, fundada por la italiana Paula de Frasinetti, siendo  el marqués de Riestra quien se la alquila para Centro de Enseñanza. Habiendo previamente sido un palacete perteneciente a la Familia Arias-Teijeiro desde 1772 y 1867, de ahí el escudo de las Armas que representan los linajes de Los Castro, Pereira, Ulloa, Ozores, Camba y Sotomayor, en piedra labrada en el frontal. Que recibió en ella a Lucía de Jesús y del Corazón de María, nacida en Aljustrel en la Sierra del Aire de Portugal, como Lúcia Rosa dos Santos el 28 de marzo de 1907.

Como Centro de Enseñanza de las Doroteas, abarcó hasta principio de la década de los setenta, en que las HH DD, ocuparon su nueva ubicación en la Calle Alfonso XIII, momento en que el sacerdote Joaquín Alonso García la adquiere para el Apostolado Mundial de Fátima creado por el padre Harold Colgan en Nueva Jersey (EE. UU.) con el beneplácito del papa Pio XII, tras 

superar milagrosamente un infarto de miocardio, cuando había sido desahuciado por cinco médicos.

Lucía fue trasladada a ella desde Tui el día 26 de octubre de 1925, estuvo a caballo entre Tui y Pontevedra, hasta el año 1946 que regresó a Portugal, donde el 25 de marzo de 1948 (tres días antes de su cumpleaños) ingresaría en el convento de las Carmelitas Descalzas de Coimbra hasta su fallecimiento el 13 de febrero de 2005.

El 10 de diciembre de 1925 se encontraba en su cuarto situado en el segundo piso (hoy capilla abierta), se le aparece la Virgen mostrando su corazón rodeado de espinas y acompañada por el Niño Jesús, donde le da a conocer para su promulgación por el mundo, la devoción de los cinco primeros sábados de mes.  Devoción que le sería recordada en una aparición del Niño Jesús en este caso solo, en el patio de la Casa el 15 de febrero de 1926. Motivo por el que el Vaticano concedió el beneplácito de ser año jubilar, hasta el 10 de diciembre de este año 2026.

Estamos prácticamente en el último cuatrimestre para poder ganar el jubileo concedido por la Santa Sede, en la casa todos los días hay misa a las 18:00 horas, seguida del Santo Rosario, Exposición del Santísimo y rezo de las Vísperas, los sábados también hay una misa a las 10:00 de la mañana. Y aunque los sacerdotes de las parroquias de esta ciudad, en un celo absurdo, hablan poco de esta importante efemérides, son muchos los peregrinos que están acercándose a la Casa. A parte de los grupos
españoles, los más numerosos son los procedentes de Polonia, Estados Unidos y Portugal. Cuyo número desde el pasado 10 de diciembre, ronda ya los 20.000 peregrinos.

Un grupo de voluntarios ayuda aporta su granito de arena, ayudando en la labor de acogida a los visitantes, a las HH de la Orden del Verbo Encarnado y de la Virgen Matará, que son las que trabajan en el mantenimiento de la Santa Casa. Hay grupos que solicitan la visita y reservan plaza en la página web y que vienen con sacerdote y dicen misa para los que quieren asistir, otros, rezan en el patio el Santo Rosario. Pero resulta paradójico, que sean muchas las personas de esta ciudad, que ignoren todo lo ocurrido en esta casa y muchísimos más (incluso creyentes) que no sepan que es año jubilar, pero ya sabemos que el “maligno” es el único que no quiere vacaciones y se vale de cualquier cosa, para sembrar el mal. Aunque medios como Faro de Vigo, se hacen eco de vez en cuando con reportajes sobre ello.

LAST FOUR-MONTH JUBILEE YEAR IN PONTEVEDRA

The house of the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin in Pontevedra, located at Calle Sor Lucia 3, 36002, whose history begins in 1918, with the arrival in the city of the Order of

On December 10, 1925, he was in his room located on the second floor (today the open chapel), the Virgin appeared to him, showing her heart surrounded by thorns and accompanied by the Child Jesus, where she made known to him for his promulgation throughout the world, the devotion of the first five Saturdays of the month.  Devotion that would be remembered in an apparition of the Child Jesus, in this case alone, in the courtyard of the House on February 15, 1926. For this reason, the Vatican granted the approval of being a jubilee year, until December 10 of this year 2026.

We are practically in the last quarter to be able to win the jubilee granted by the Holy See, in the house every day there is Mass at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Holy Rosary, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and prayer of Vespers, on Saturdays there is also a Mass at 10:00 a.m. And although the priests of the parishes of this city, in an absurd zeal, speak little about this important anniversary, there are many pilgrims who are approaching the House. Apart from the Spanish groups, the most numerous are those from Poland, the United States and Portugal.

Whose number since December 10, is already around 20,000 pilgrims.

A group of volunteers helps contribute their grain of sand, helping in the work of welcoming visitors, the Sisters of the Order of the Incarnate Word and the Virgin Matará, who are the ones who work in the maintenance of the Holy House.
